Empty Suitcases Cause Bomb Scare

A pair of 'suspicious' suitcases left on Street Road in Warminster cause an evacuation Sunday.

Warminster Police responded to a call about a “suspicious person” who allegedly saw two brown suitcases at the rear of 590 West Street Rd., according to police.

Officers found the suspicious person, later identified as Gene Anthony Duronslet of Texas, who is wanted out of Bucks County for failure to appear at a court hearing. Duronslet was taken into custody, but provided “very limited information about the suspicious suitcases,” according to a press release.

As a precaution, businesses along Street Road and the homes along Olive Avenue were advised to stay inside as shelter or to evacuate the area.
