Feud Led to Overnight Knife Attack

Police are investigating the knifing of a 23-year-old Warminster man who was attacked late last night behind the in the Warminster Heights section of the township.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and refused to be transported to the hospital, according to Warminster Police Chief Michael Murphy.

Around 11 p.m., the victim was walking from the Warminster Heights housing development to the 7-Eleven, at the corner of Hardman Lane and Street Road, when he encountered two black males, behind the M building at Bucks Landing.

According to the police, one of the men began to fight the victim and pulled a knife. The victim ended up with knife wounds on his neck and defensive injuries to his elbow and hands, said Murphy.

The attacker and the man he was with fled on foot and both are being sought by police, the chief said. 

A Warminster Police Department K9 along with several officers searched for the suspects in the Bucks Landing complex and the Warminster Heights development last night.

"This incident was the result of an on-going feud," Murphy said.

Murphy added, the feud is believed to be "over issues between a group of young men and a group of young ladies."

The victim told police he did not know his attacker.

"Detectives right now are working on putting more information together on the suspects," the chief said. 

At this time, police are looking for two suspects. The attacker is described as a dark-skinned black male in his mid-20s, approximately 6-feet-tall, dreadlocks, last seen wearing a t-shirt and jeans. The other male who police are looking to speak to was a lighter skinned black male wearing a grey shirt and white shorts.
