Lower Moreland Police Use Taser on Warminster Man Claiming to be God

LMPD responded to St. Albert's Circle after a man broke through a resident's front door.

Orlando Fioravanti, 41, of Warminster, faces charges of burglary, trespassing, criminal mischief and making terroristic threats after an incident that occurred at St. Albert’s Circle in Huntingdon Valley on Wednesday, March 14.

At 11:39 a.m., Lower Moreland Police Department responded to the scene after being told a man was acting very loud and boisterous and broke through a resident’s front door.

Fioravanti continued to yell and scream once police showed up. He refused to listen or cooperate to any of its commands and began to say threatening remarks. After telling police, “I am God,” he then said, “If you touch me I will kill you.”

LMPD then used a taser on the Warminster man to arrest him, and then he was taken to Abington Hospital for treatment. He was then transported to Norristown State Hospital.

According to police Fioravanti did not know the person whose door he broke down.
