Updated: Northampton Home Damaged by Early Morning Fire

Crews from Northampton, Upper Southampton, Ivyland and Warminster responded to a home blaze Friday morning.

A home on Pulinksi Dr. in Northampton was heavily damaged by a fire early Friday morning.

Responders from Northampton were first on the scene, just before 2 a.m., said Northampton Fire Marshal Frank Fenton. Upper Southampton, Ivyland and Warminster fire crews arrived shortly after and helped get the blaze under control in approximately 40 minutes.

The fire began in the garage, Fenton said, and stayed mostly contained in that area, save for the upper attic area of the main house. The rest of the home suffered broken windows and water damage.
