Police Arrest Trio on Suspicion for String of Home Burglaries

The three suspects are accused of at least 12 home invasions throughout the area.

A Doylestown woman and two Jamison men have been arrested by Warminster police and charged with several counts of burglary and related offenses.

William, 22, and Brandon, 20, Bainger from the 1900 block of Sunrise Way in Jamison, and Rachel Venettone, 23, of the 200 block of N. West St. in Doylestown, are suspected of committing at least 12 residential daytime burglaries throughout the Central Bucks County region, police said.

Investigators accused the trio of entering unoccupied homes by forcing open the rear doors and stealing gold and silver jewelry and electronic items. The items were then sold at various cash for gold stores in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.

They are also believed to be responsible for more than $7,000 of damage to these homes.

Earlier this year, there was a of home burglaries in Warminster and surrounding communities, using the similar method of knocking on the front door, then, if there was no answer, breaking into the rear door of the residence.

In late March, were arrested and accused of being responsible for a number of those break-ins.

Warminster police credited the Ivyland Boro Police, Doylestown Boro Police, Doylestown Township Police, Northampton Police, Buckingham Police, Newtown Township Police and Plumstead Police for their assistance in Tuesday's arrests. 

William Bainger was charged with nine counts of burglary, conspiracy and related offenses. Brandon Bainger was charged with three counts of burglary, conspiracy and related offenses. Rachel Venettone was charged with one count of burglary, conspiracy and related offenses.

All individuals were also charged with numerous counts of receiving stolen property. They were arraigned before Magisterial District Justice Jean Seaman. According to the statement from the police, both William and Brandon Bainger were held in the Bucks County Correctional Facility on $500,000 bail. Venettone was released on $150,000 unsecured bail. Hearing dates have not been set.
