The Warminster police department is asking the public to be on the lookout of a woman suspected of stealing an elderly person's purse while shopping at Kohl's on Sunday.

According to the police, the surveillance footage from the store shows a white female in her early 20s with blonde/brown hair in a ponytail and wearing a black jacket with a tan, fur-lined hood and blue jeans.

Police say that the suspect was inside Kohl's at approximately 2 p.m. on Jan. 12 when she approached an elderly customer and distracted her. When the elderly woman turned her head, the suspect took the purse and ran out the front doors and into the parking lot.

Anybody with information regarding the suspect's identity is asked to contact the Warminster Township Police Department at (215) 672-1000.
