Warminster Man Accused of Daytime Home Burglary

According to reports, police arrested the suspect Wednesday morning after an officer spotted him escaping out a side window.

A Warminster man is charged with two felony counts of burglary and criminal trespassing after police arrested him after he jumped out of the side window of a home on Valley Road, according to a release by the Warminster Police Department.

Mark Teufel, 28, has been remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on $50,000 bail. According to the report, a witness phoned the police Wednesday morning when he did not recognize a young man loitering outside a neighbor's home.

Officers from the Warminster and Warrington police departments arrived at the house and saw that the suspect had entered the premises. While surrounding the home, an officer saw Teufel jump out the side window. The report says Teufel had jewelry from the home in his pockets.
