Warminster Man Hospitalized After NJ Car Accident

One of the passengers in a two-vehicle crash on the White Horse Pike was killed Saturday afternoon.

An 83-year-old Warminster man was injured and his 76-year-old passenger was killed following a head-on collision on the White Horse Pike in New Jersey Saturday afternoon, the Press of Atlantic City reports.

Joackim Mechikas of Warminster was driving eastbound at approximately 1:11 p.m. when Damion Moore, 34, of Philadelphia, attempted to make a left from the westbound lane, colliding into Mechikas.

Mechikas and Moore were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, under critical condition. Mechikas' passenger, Elizabeth Stults of Riverside, N.J, was pronounced dead at AtlantiCare's Mainland Campus.
