Warminster Man Missing Since Friday

Family and friends are on the lookout for Robert Wahl, 26, who was last seen at his parents' home Friday afternoon. His favorite hang outs include Masons Mill in Upper Moreland.

A 26-year-old Warminster man has been reported missing by his parents, who have not seen or heard from him since Friday afternoon.

The family and friends of Robert "Bob" Wahl ask the public to stay on the lookout for a 5-foot, 10-inch man weighing 153 pounds and likely wearing a hat and a backpack.

"This is definitely not like him," said his mother, Lynne Wahl. "He's never done this before. He might take four hours to call me back after I text him, but this is too long."

Lynne last saw Robert Friday afternoon when she left her home, located in the neighborhood around Meadow Run Park. Wahl's friends have taken to social media outlets to get the word out, creating a digital poster and sharing it with as many people as possible.

"Except for my daughter who lives in Warwick, we don't have a lot of family close in the area," said Lynne. "But we have a lot of friends, and they are putting feelers out everywhere."

One of Lynne's fears that Robert has suffered a relapse into drug use. She said he went to rehab last year and has not taken drugs since. Robert does not own a car, Lynne said, and that if he is mobile, he is doing it with his bike.

His favorite hang-outs include the High Rocks at Ralph Stover Park and Masons Mill Park in Upper Moreland. If anybody has information to Robert's whereabouts, contact the Warminster Police Department at (215) 672-1000 or Lynne and Robert Wahl at (215) 675-0272 or (215) 582-5913.
