An object shattered a front window and struck Elizabeth and Thomas Doyle while they drove through Virginia last week.
Archbishop Wood's cross country coach and her husband are in a Virginia hospital after they were struck by an object while driving on I-95 last week, according to theintell.com.
A family member told theintell.com that an object shattered a window, struck Thomas Doyle and lodged into Elizabeth Doyle's face and neck. The incident damaged Thomas' spine and left him partially paralyzed, according to the report.
