County Health Department to Spray Mosquitoes in Warrington Tonight

Two pickup trucks will be using the chemical spray throughout several Warrington neighborhoods.

The Bucks County Health Department, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), will conduct an adult mosquito spray tonight between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. - weather permitting - in Bensalem and Warrington townships.

The Bensalem spray will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be limited to the open space at the rear of the municipal building and include the amphitheater. This area will be sprayed by a truck mounted sprayer, ATV, and walking backpack. 

Immediately following this spray, the Department will move to Warrington Township and using a truck mounted sprayer and a lead truck as described below, will spray the following streets; Harvard Drive, Villanova Drive, Phillips Avenue, Wedge Way, Greensward North and South, Country Club, Orchard Way, Elbow Lane from Street Road to Spring Meadow Drive, Spring Meadow Drive and Wood Spring Drive.

The vehicles to be used will be a green 1997 Chevy pickup truck and a Green Ford Ranger pickup truck.  Both vehicles will be marked with the Bucks County Health Department logo.  The chemical to be applied will be Masterline Kontrol 4-4.
