Donate Your Old Cell Phone and Help Bucks County Seniors

'Cells for Seniors' is a new initiative launched by the Bucks County Sheriff's Department.

Bucks County has launched a new initiative that aims to provide the county's older residents with cell phones to make emergency calls to 9-1-1.

Sheriff Edward “Duke” Donnelly announced the “Cells for Seniors”  program in a posting on the county website.

The Sheriff’s office is collecting old or unused cell phones and chargers to help with the initiative. Each donated phone will be wiped out by the Sheriff’s office and then handed out to local seniors to call 9-1-1 only.
