Dr. Pollock is running for re-election to the Centennial School Board in region 2.

Name:  Dr. Andrew M. Pollock

Occupation: Retired educator - teacher, coach, secondary principal & superintendent. 

Currently work part-time: Supervise student teachers for Temple Univ. & Delaware Valley College and coach JV boys lacrosse for Council Rock South HS.

Length of time in Warminster: 6+ years (retired to Ann's Choice). 

Taxes are always of interest to residents, especially in these tough economic times. What suggestions do you have to improve the efficiency of the school district to save tax dollars? The main way to improve the efficiency of the school district to save tax dollars is to finish the consolidation of the elementary schools, reduce the number of workers in the school district, and hold raises for employees to a minimum.

What kind of changes would you like to see happen at the beginning of your term? Changes that I would like to see at the beginning of my term is for the board of school directors to act more as a team of 10. 

In 50 words or less, why should residents vote for you? I believe the residents should vote for me because of my experience as an educator.  Also, because of the direction that the school district has taken in the last for years which will benefit the taxpayers and the school district for the next few generations.
