What organizations and activities are you involved with locally? Since moving to Warminster, I have been a member of the township’s Finance & Budget Advisory Board and the Environmental & Energy Advisory Council. For the last two years, I have sat on the Warminster Zoning Hearing Board, starting as Vice-Chair and most recently appointed as Chairman.

Taxes are always of interest to residents, especially in these tough economic times. What suggestions do you have to improve the efficiency of the township to save tax dollars? We need to stop talking about cutting unnecessary spending and start to actually identify government waste in order to make the township more efficient and our township more affordable.  We need proper fiscal planning so we are never again faced with the choice between an unnecessary tax-hike or laying-off 20 percent of our police department, as was the case last year.

If you are elected to the board of supervisors, what are some things you would do right away? Making sure that our community remains safe and clean is not a Democratic or Republican issue. We are all neighbors and citizens of this great township.

There has been far too much political party bickering in township government over the past few years.  I have had the great fortune of working with all of the sitting supervisors on a number of issues during my terms of service to the township.

If elected, I will use the relationships I have developed over the years to help bridge the gap between the members of the board. We can work improve our quality of life by working together.

Stormwater is also a major issue for residents. What are some ways the township can manage the flooding problem? Recently the township was able to secure a $500,000 redevelopment grant from the Commonwealth for stormwater improvements.  We need to use that money to address some of the major problem areas in Warminster, specifically at 8th and Green, Valley Road and Penrose Lane.  Once our great team at public works and the township engineer’s office address those issues, it will be necessary for the Board of Supervisors to promote fiscal responsibility and regular up-keep of the township’s stormwater management systems so we are not faced with this problem again.

What other issues would you like to see come to the forefront if you are elected to the Board of Supervisors? We need to quickly address the very real issue of overdevelopment in this township.  As we continue to see new commercial and residential development pop-up in Warminster, we need to make sure that we do not lose sight of quality of life concerns, like traffic and safety.

In 50 words or less, why should residents vote for you? As Chairman of Warminster’s Zoning Hearing Board, and as member of the Finance Advisory Board and the Environmental Advisory Council, I have the experience necessary to succeed as supervisor.  If elected I will work tirelessly to ensure that Warminster remains a great place to live, work and raise a family.
