Meet the Supervisors Wednesday at Eagle Diner

Township residents can meet directly with Warminster supervisors in a casual setting at the Eagle Diner Wednesday morning.

If five minutes of public comment, once a month, does not seem like enough time to bring pressing matters before the township government, a new opportunity to interact with local leaders has opened up.

Two members of the Warminster Board of Supervisors would like to hear directly from township residents about any issues and concerns. Starting this week, Dan McPhillips and Frank Feinberg will hold a casual, open forum at the Eagle Diner every Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

"We're going to start out with three weeks, and if there is a good response we'll keep doing it," said McPhillips.

The pair, both running for re-election in November's general election, formed the outreach program after receiving numerous phone calls and e-mails about the one meeting a month schedule that has been in place for the past several months.

"They don't feel that once a month is enough to meet the township's needs," said McPhillips.
