ML: What's really embarrassing for our community is to see a petty malcontent like yourself have nothing better to do than chide some poor reporter over the grammar of an article that is only five sentences long. Don't you have something better to do? Try making positive and constructive contributions once in a while; you'll probably be a happier person. Nate: Thanks for the update.

I am not the first person to point this out on this site. I want to be able to trust my news and reporting sources, and I feel like if they can't use the English language correctly, I don't feel that trust. I need to know the facts are correct, and it's hard for me to believe anyone who can't catch simple spelling errors is detail oriented enough to get all the facts of a story. I know not everyone cares about these things, But I'm entitled to my opinion without being judged and called names.

If you feel so strongly that patch.com is "untrustworthy," then go brood over spell check elsewhere.
