'Best of' in the Region

See which coffee shops and breakfast spots were chosen as tops throughout the area.

It was an interesting week in Patch’s Best Of across our area, with polls focused on some of our favorite morning activities – breakfast and coffee.

 and, in a relatively close race,  came out on top with 30% of the vote. User Chuck Hall said “… I go to Nonno's often. Owners are local, and very nice people.”

Down the road in Warminster, users debated in town. A tight race turned into a runaway victory for . "I didn't even know about the poll until Tuesday," said owner Julie Spagnolia, who opened Little Leo's 10 years ago. "By the time I posted it to our Facebook page, we were already ahead. I'm so excited about this. It shows what a great community we have here."

Upper Southampton Patch users  and more than half said, . But user SouthamptonMom said “We could use some better places for breakfast!”

Breakfast lovers in Hatboro-Horsham picked  and most folks who commented highlighted service as a factor. User Kathie Butler Hart likes  and said, “The staff is friendly, you get more food than you can eat, it's the place where everyone knows your name and is so comfortable that a lady can sit at the counter alone and enjoy a meal.”

Northampton voters voted along the same lines  as having the best cup of coffee in the township. User  said he believes Richboro could support a regular coffee shop. “Yeah, I think it could if the shop is in the right spot and provides the right atmosphere,” he wrote. “I think most people want a decent cup at a reasonable price in a place where you can just sit down and relax.”
