Archbishop Wood Says Goodbye to Class of 2011

The seniors gathered at Villanova Monday afternoon for the graduation ceremony.

More than 250 seniors from Archbishop Wood's senior class of 2011 happily marked the end of their high school careers during the graduation ceremony Monday afternoon at Villanova University.

It was a day to honor and remember the efforts and achievements of the past four years, with each speech taking a moment to recognize the stand-out successes of the student body. Valedictorian Jennifer Whelan specifically called out the state champion basketball team and regional champion robotics team, among others.

Salutatorian Timothy Goodwin also took a moment to credit the faculty and staff for working hard to make high school as enjoyable and educational as possible, preparing the graduates for future challenges.
