Centennial Schools Closed on Wednesday

The district canceled classes as neighborhoods continue recovering from Hurricane Sandy.

Lingering effects from Hurricane Sandy has forced the Centennial School District to close all schools on Wednesday, officials announced on Tuesday. Classes at MBIT have also been canceled, as well as all after school activities and meetings.

Offices will remain open and staff should report at normal times, according to an announcement posted on the district website.

Thousands of residents in Warminster, Ivyland and Upper Southampton continue to be without power following the hurricane.
