Help Save Nativity's "First in Math" Program

Help save the Nativity of Our Lord “First in Math” program. Come to Love It! Frozen Yogurt at the Genaurdi's Shopping Center on York Road, in Jamison, anytime Friday, Saturday or Sunday and ALL of your purchase will be donated to saving the First in Math Program. The promotion includes the purchase of gift cards.

The First in Math program is an online competitive game that children use outside of school to reinforce mental Math skills in a fun, friendly and fast paced format. The students earn points toward goals and try to be Best in Class, Best in School and beyond. A traveling trophy goes to the best class in the school each month.  Nativity has a chance to compete against other students in the state and in the national program overall.

Cuts in funding to Nativity for textbooks and materials have put a strain on the school budget to cover the essential items needed for classes this year.  The per student reimbursements for books and materials has dropped even though enrollments at Nativity are up this year.

Other programs in our school are affected as the school's operating budget goes to making up the shortfall in purchases of books and essential materials.

Due to these statewide budget cuts that had a ripple effect on the operating budget funds available for "extras", Nativity is in danger of losing the First in Math program due to lack of funds to pay for it.

Anne and Eric Borell, owners of Love It! Frozen Yogurt shop in Jamison, stepped up to offer this fundraiser specifically to help save this program for the Nativity students. They are generously donating 100 percent of all sales to persons submitting the Nativity flyer for the entire weekend at their store.
