Wood Holds Pep Rally Before State Title Game

The Thursday morning event was held to get students behind their Archbishop Wood Vikings football team.

The student body filled the seats of auditorium at Thursday morning for a pep rally held in honor of the school's , which is headed to Harrisburg to play at the state championship in Hershey Friday night at 7 p.m.

The morning event featured music and video entertainment to get the crowd in the mood for the Friday night's game against Harrisburg's Bishop McDevitt High School.

Wood Head Coach Steve Devlin told the audience he wants to see all of the school's students at tomorrow night's game cheering on the Vikings.

As of Thursday morning, the school has 10 bus-loads of students signed up to attend the game.
