Pizza Plaza Moves a Few Doors Down

The kitchen has new equipment, the dining room is bigger and the entrance has shifted about five doors to the right. Other than those not-so-minor details, everything is still pretty much the same for Pizza Plaza.

Last week, Juan Guerro completed the restaurant's move to a more spacious setting at the Center Point Plaza shopping center. Formerly located near the Hallmark store, the popular pizza joint is now closer to Planet Fitness. The new location takes the place of Woody's BBQ, which quietly closed earlier this year.

"Right now were just working on telling the customers," said Guerro. "Not everybody knows, yet."

The menu, staff and phone number all remain the same at Pizza Plaza. Work on a new sign is still in progress, but until then, Guerro has some poster boards at the old site pointing the hungry masses to their salvation.
