All participants, ages 10-16 years, for this class (PVP only) must show proof of swimming proficiency i.e. from the YMCA, Red Cross, Scout, Fanny Chapman, or a school district with a certificate of completion. Working with paddleboats, rowboats, canoes and kayaks, participants learn the basics of boating safety and the fundamentals of paddling, and rowing. Each student who completes the course receives a Bucks County Dept. of Parks and Recreation Certificate of Completion. Wear swimsuit, secure water shoes (no flip flops). Bring a towel, beverages, snacks & sunscreen. Class meets at Peace Valley Park Boat Rental on Creek Road, New Britian
