Rosenberger is Named Head Coach of Tennent Football

The Centennial School Board of Directors approved Bob Rosenberger as the new Head Football Coach at William Tennent High School Tuesday evening.

Rosenberger returns to his alma mater after spending the last eight years as the Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Pennridge High School.

Upon accepting the position at Tuesday night's school board meeting, Rosenberger said this is the job he has been working toward his whole career. 

"I cannot put into words how excited I am to finally be home," he said.

Rosenberger has 11 years of experience as an Assistant Head Coach and 17 years coaching football in different positions.

Prior to his tenure at Pennridge High School, Rosenberger was the offensive line coach for WTHS in 1996 and 1997, North Penn High School offensive line coach from 1997-2001, Wissahickon High School assistant head coach, defensive ends coach, fullbacks coach and special teams coordinator from 2001-2003, and Central Bucks West High School offensive line coach, defensive ends coach, and special teams coordinator in 2004.

The district released a statement saying Coach Rosenberger has a proven track record of success, possesses strong organizational skills, and has the ability to challenge and motivate athletes.

"Not only is he dedicated to the success of his athletes on the field, but in the classroom as well. We are confident Coach Rosenberger has the experience and skills to help us accomplish our athletic goals," it read.
