Broncos and Eagles Face Off for Thanksgiving Day Football
The 1st Annual Duke Mitchell Turkey Bowl was held at Syzmanek Park in Warminster on Thanksgiving afternoon.
The Duke Mitchell Turkey Bowl, which benefited cancer research, featured the Bucks County Broncos verse the Delaware Valley Eagles.
Duke Mitchell, a former Bensalem resident, passed away recently after a battle with lung cancer. When doctors diagnosed him 13-years-ago, they predicted he only had a few months to live.
Mitchell was a coach for several local football teams and previously coached the defence at Bensalem High School.
