Warminster Swim Club Closed Indefinitely
Local residents seek an alternative as a locked gate and half-filled pool show that the Murphy Swim Club is not opening this summer.
Warminster residents looking for some relief from the heat have one less option this summer.
Fans of the Warminster Patch Facebook page responded on Thursday to an off-hand comment about the weather with information about the Murphy Warminster Swim Club remaining closed this season.
"Murphy swim club is closed indefinitely," commented Ray Garner on the page.

A visit to the swim club, located on Stub Road, near the closed K-Mart, revealed locked gates, a half empty pool and deserted grounds. Phone calls to the swim club's main number received a recording that said the number was no longer in service.
