Warwick Township Firehouse Demolition Scheduled for March 5th

Warwick Township is known as the “Heart of Bucks County” and nowhere is that more evident than at Warwick Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1. The company’s dedicated volunteers have poured their hearts and souls into protecting residents and businesses throughout Warwick Township for the past 53 years.  The new firehouse is an integral part of Warwick Township Fire Company’s long-term plan to meet the needs of future generations of Warwick Township residents and businesses.

The fire company has embarked on a capital campaign to build a new firehouse designed to bring the facility up to code. The facility will have an enlarged training area to educate the volunteers in a more efficient way, provide sleeping quarters to increase response time in extreme weather, add energy efficient components for greater savings, and alleviate response time challenges brought on by the need to double stack the fire trucks. Overall, the design will meet the company’s goal to build a safer facility that will keep up with the projected growth of the community and help recruit future volunteers - many of whom are currently students in the township elementary and middle schools.
