After many years of working with large organizations, becoming the owner of a Seniors Helping Seniors franchise addressed Marte’s need to return to directly serving seniors on a very personal level. She has great respect for individuals who have reached their senior years and have the determination to continue to be as independent as possible.

Currently, seniors who choose to remain in their own homes encounter many challenges.  Navigating the various systems and accessing services should not be among those challenges.  Marte is able to provide the support seniors need to both provide and receive services that will allow them to achieve their goals and dreams with dignity and independence.

In her opinion, the win-win structure of Seniors Helping Seniors is unique and fills many gaps in the current system of senior services.  The end result is that with the help of Marte and Seniors Helping Seniors many seniors will avoid the need for nursing home care.
