Leary Elementary School

Named after district teacher Alta S. Leary, the school has grown from an 18-room building to a state-honored facility. In 2009, it was named a state and national school of character under the Character Education Partnership. The school is scheduled to close at the end of the 2010-11 school year as part of the school district's construction plans.

Fantastic school, the entire school is surrounded by large grassy playground areas and ball fields. There is approximately 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school is closing in June 2011 because of the township's education facilities restructure plan.
