The 'Business Resources for Artists & Creative Entrepreneurs' will be held Tuesday, May 7 in Doylestown.

The County of Bucks Business Development Department will present a workshop for artists and creative entrepreneurs on Tuesday, May 7. The Business Resources for Artists & Creative Entrepreneurs will be held at the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, Bailiwick Office Campus, Suite 23, 252 West Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.The program starts promptly at 8:15 a.m. and concludes at 10:30 a.m. "Bucks County is home to many artists and creative-based businesses," said Sonia Smith, County of Bucks Business Development Administrator. The Bucks County Department of Health recently inspected 35 establishments in Warminster, 30 of which had code violations.

The Bucks County Department of Health conducted inspections of the following food-service establishments in Warminster in the past month. Hundreds Gather for Concerned Gun Owners of Bucks County Meeting

It was standing-room only at the VFW Post on Louis Drive in Warminster Tuesday evening for the Concerned Gun Owners of Bucks County Meeting.

Hundreds turned out for the second Concerned Gun Owners of Bucks County meeting. For many, it was their first exposure to the group. Several notable Bucks County officials were in attendance at the meeting, including District Attorney David Heckler, Prothonotary Patricia Bachtle and Sheriff Edward Donnelly.   Meeting leader Steve Onufrey said the group was born around a kitchen table by a group of friends talking about the reaction to Sandy Hook. "We are peaceful citizens that believe in the God given right to defend," said Onufrey. "We are standing firm on the second amendment." He said the mission of the group was to educate and inform as well as a call to action. The group met for two hours, including break-out sessions for discussion. …

This is a position that was supported by the 2008 Supreme Court decision on the issue. LISTEN: 911 Calls From Night of Warminster Police Shooting

The Bucks County District Attorney's Office released portions of Deborah Silva's 911 call during the alleged shootout between Andrew Cairns and Warminster Police at the Jefferson on the Creek apartment complex.

Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler said Deborah Silva was on the phone with a 911 operator during the time the fatal shot was fired that struck and killed her neighbor, 89-year-old Marie Zienkewicz.  Heckler said Silva called police that evening to report that her boyfriend, Andrew Cairns, had locked himself in his bedroom and fired two shots from his pistol.  According to Heckler, that call turned into a 27 minute conversation between Silva and a 911 dispatcher, with the fatal shot that killed Zienkewicz being fired by police around 17 minutes into the call.   "Listening to the tape of that communication, of Ms. Silva who is obviously intoxicated in one way or another, is one of the most maddingly, frustrating experiences I have…
