Georgia Family Wins Patch's Deck the House Contest

The Felix family from Dallas, GA received thousands of votes to win Patch's Deck the House contest and $100,000 for their local school district.

In this year's Deck the House contest, the second time was the charm. Joseph Felix's home in Dallas, GA outshined the other 24 finalists to win the 2012 Deck the House contest and $100,000 for the Paulding County, GA school district. After placing second in the nationwide voting in the 2011 contest, the Felix home received nearly 11,000 votes this year to finally win Deck the House. The home, with 100,000 computer animated holiday lights choreographed to Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You," received about 300 more votes than a home in Coventry, R.I., which finished in second place. Only Days Left to Vote for the Best “Decked” House on Patch

Patch readers unite! Help one of our area school districts win $100,000. Homeowners in Upper Moreland and Hatboro-Horsham are finalists in Patch's Deck the House Contest.

You have only three days to vote to help an area school district win $100,000.  It could be in Upper Moreland or Hatboro-Horsham. According to users who voted in our annual Deck the House contest, these homes have the best holiday lights in the county. Patch had tons of national entries in this year’s Deck the House contest and then chose 25 finalists from all our entries across the country. Check Out the Best “Decked” House in Warminster

You voted and this house was the top local vote-getter in our Deck the House contest.

Who has the best “decked” house in Warminster? According to users who voted in our annual Deck the House contest, this entry by Ashlee Resch has the best holiday lights in Warminster. We had tons of national entries in this year’s Deck the House contest and in our quest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in the country, we’ve seen everything from a life-size Santa to holiday lights so bright they could blind the neighbors. We loved showcasing everyone’s holiday spirit, but Deck the House isn’t over yet.
