Dec. 6: Delay of McDonald Move Proposed at Operations Committee

The Centennial Operations Committee passed a motion that proposes delaying the move from the old McDonald Elementary to the newly constructed building. Instead of making the transition in March, during the district's spring break, administration wil begin making the move once the school year ends in June. The issue will go before the full school board for approval on Dec. 11. The Warminster Board of Supervisors meeting scheduled for tonight has been canceled. Nov. 30: Nativity Students Participate in Movember Fundraiser

For the second consecutive year, the students at Nativity of Our Lord School have contributed to a cause that raises awareness and funds research for prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. Initiated in 2011 by music teacher, Dan Myers, who has a personal family connection to this cause, students held a dress down day and contributed their donations in exchange for wearing their best moustache in the annual Movember Moustache Day event.  Moustaches of all shapes, sizes and material arrived at school that day competing for best moustache in their grade.
