Warminster Girl Scout Sells 1,500 Boxes of Cookies
Brownie Lauren Hoffman sold nearly 10 times more the amount of cookies sold by the average Girl Scout.
Most people enjoy eating girl scout cookies, but have you ever thought about the hard work that goes into selling them? Lauren Hoffman has. She sold more than 1,500 boxes of the tasty treats for her Girl Scout Troop this year. And that's up 500 boxes from the 1,000 boxes she sold last year. Lauren's mom, Juliette Punchello, said the number is even more impressive when you consider that the national average for cookie sales per girl scout is around 180 boxes. Lauren said the secret to her success is setting a goal and then working as hard as she can to achieve it. Next year, Lauren plans to sell more than 2,000 boxes.
