Tennent Closes Out Lansdale Catholic with Big Fourth Quarter
The Crusaders kept the score tight, but ultimately couldn't keep up with the Panthers.
In a game that saw both sides go on a series of runs in the first three quarters, the William Tennent Lady Panthers saved their best for last, going on a 14-1 run in the fourth quarter and turning a six point game into a big win. Thanks to patient ball movement and a suffocating defense, the Panthers held the Lansdale Catholic Crusaders to just five fourth quarter points en route to a 53-36 non-league win at home Thursday night. The Panthers, like they have all season, showed active hands on the defensive end, forcing the Crusaders into turnovers and creating extra offensive possessions.
