One Dog Found, Another Still Missing

A missing toy poodle was found yesterday by a local family after seeing an announcement posted on Warminster Patch.

A family has been reunited with a beloved pet after an alert Warminster Patch reader saw the dog wondering in the woods near her house. The toy poodle, Ketzie, went missing on Friday, Dec. 21, last seen in the Hampton Road section of Warminster. The owner's neice, Karen McDevitt, posted an announcement on Warminster Patch on Dec. 26, and that same day she received a tip from a reader who saw Ketzie on Sunday. Another family member canvassed the neighborhood and eventually found Ketzie hiding in a wood pile. After a trip to the vet for a checkup, the dog was returned to his owners. Reward Offered for Safe Return of Missing Dog

The O'Donnell family has been looking for Chesty, a rat terrier/beagle mix, since Nov. 16, when he got loose in the Mearns/Bristol neighborhood.

It's been two-and-a-half weeks since Chesty got loose from the O'Donnell's backyard, and the Warminster family sorely misses their beloved dog. "I call for him every night," said John O'Donnell. "We've got two other dogs, a 7-year-old rat terrier and a chug, a chihuahua/pug mix. They want him back home." The public was first made aware that Chesty, a rat terrier/beagle mix, had gone missing from a blog posted by Mary Alice Brancato on Nov. 19. Originally reported on Nov. 16, the O'Donnell family is still missing its rat terrier dog, Chesty. It was last seen in the Bristol/Mearns Road area. Anyody with information about the dog's whereabouts shoud call the owners at (215) 672-1296. The Moland House is hosting a daily craft show until Saturday, Dec. 1.
