Warminster GOP Seeks Candidates

Positions available include; Township Supervisor, Tax Collector, Township Auditor, and Centennial School Board Director.

The Warminster GOP is seeking candidates living in Warminster township for elected office. Positions available include; Township Supervisor, Tax Collector, Township Auditor, and Centennial School Board Director. Interested persons, who have lived in the township for at least one year or more, are a registered Republican and wish to apply, should send a letter of interest along with a resume to :Warminster Republican Committee, PO Box 3151, Warminster, PA  18974. The deadline for submissions is Monday, Feb. 11. A Committee endorsement screening meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19, for interviewing potential candidates. Local Party Chairs React to Romney's Choice for Running Mate

Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney announced today he has selected Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan as his choice for Vice President.

News broke early Saturday morning that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney selected Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as his Vice Presidential running mate, according to a Fox News report. Ryan, best known for his proposed budget that calls for an overhaul of Medicare, is considered a rising star in the GOP. Romney made the official announcement at a campaign stop in Norfolk, Va., calling Ryan "an intellectual leader of the Republican Party."   Pennsylvania Republican leaders praised Romney's choice of running mate.
