While many say simple reheating is all that’s necessary to have a “day after” feast, others have elaborate recipes for turning Thanksgiving leftovers into gourmet delights. Lucy's Matt doesn't think there is such a thing as too many Thanksgiving turkeys.

To me, Thanksgiving is the harbinger of the Christmas season, and I look forward to putting up the tree that weekend. For Matt, however, it marks his favorite day of the year because he loves turkey. He looks forward to the big dinner and all the leftover turkey sandwiches, turkey casseroles, turkey stir fry, you name it. He loves turkey more than Santa loves his elves. Senior Community Helps Feed Needy

Ann's Choice residents teamed up to gather about 2,500 pounds of food to help feed the less fortunate.

Monday afternoon, several residents and staff members at Ann's Choice loaded dozens of boxes filled with food into the back of a white pick-up truck. "It's not surprising that the residents are out here helping move the heavy boxes, Michael Williams, Ann's Choice wellness manager, said. "You just have to ask and they'll do it." The retirement community collected about 2,500 pounds of canned and boxed food donations over the course of the past month. This is eighth year Ann's Choice and its nearly 2,000 residents have collected food for the needy, according to the community's Pastoral Ministries Manager Rich Haddon. The pick-up filled with the donated food was headed to the Bucks County YWCA. The YWCA provides a safe place for women and …
