New Year Brings New Changes to Warminster Patch
After two years at the helm of Warminster Patch, Local Editor James Boyle hands over the reins to a trusted colleague as he moves to a new position in Patch.
One of my first jobs out of college was writing local arts and entertainment news for Packet Publications, a newspaper company based in Central New Jersey. It was a terrific job for a first time reporter, and gave me lots of writing and reporting experience and I enjoyed meeting all kinds of people during my five years there. However, I never had the feeling that I was making any kind of impact with my stories. I wrote the articles, sent them away for print, and never really thought about them again or had any kind of feedback from the public.
