Vandals Add 'Abortion Clinic' to Safetytown

One of the facades in the play town located at Warminster Community Park has been defaced.

Since opening its gates last summer, Safetytown has attracted an inevitable amount of minor vandalism, with black Xes scrawled on several signs hanging throughout the play village. An extreme case of defacement has been discovered this past weekend, however. The facade carrying a sign for McDonough Plumbing & Heating has the name blacked out and replaced with "Abortion Clinic" in what appears to be permanent marker. It is unknown how long the sign has been altered. "It is terrible when people feel the need to express themselves by defacing a childrens play area," said Warminster Rotary President Greg Hucklebridge in an e-mailed statement.
