Ann's Choice Holds Fourth Annual Gift Wrapping Party

Residents gathered to wrap more than 500 gifts for needy children, sing carols and see who had the fastest fingers.

Make that a three-peat for Nancy Bowers.  For the past three years in a row, the Ann's Choice resident has won the retirement community's annual fastest fingers competition. Friday morning, she giftwrapped seven gifts in one minute, taking the title once again. "I just get in there and keep my focus on the presents in front of me," said Bowers. "I think the competition is a wonderful event and it is for a very worthwhile cause." For four years, Ann's Choice residents have wrapped presents for the YWCA of Bucks County during the holiday season. Three years ago, the fastest fingers contest began as a way to raise awareness and interest in the efforts to bring a happy holiday to children in need. "At Ann's Choice we have a mission to serve …

This fundraising event recognizes the achievements of women throughout the County," said Ken Lynch, director of marketing, communications and resource development.
