I've been a freelance writer for many years and love writing about community and people making a difference.

My background includes working with animal rescue and helping to educate and inspire compassion.  And, (at the urging of one of my cats  :) I started Zen 4 Animals Jewelry which I have since renamed to Zen Den Creations. On my website you'll find anything from bracelets with 'animal messages' that convey a simple message of compassion to New Age or Traditional items.

I am working towards becoming non-profit with a vision of starting the 'Fancy Face Fund' to help people who need assistance with medical care for their animal friends. Assisting with spay/neuter costs for those in need would also greatly reduce the numbers of homeless animals in our shelters.

I also own a local pet sitting business. (Cheryl's Pet Sitting Services) My services include dog walking, cat sitting ,  feeding, vet visits or litter box changes. I always discount for senior citizens!
