On the article William Tennent Not Among Top US High Schools, Newsweek Says

ReplyJust because the survey says... does not mean that quality education can not be obtained at William Tennant. You get what you put in to it. And parents need to participate. That means you check that homework is done and you tutor your own kids if they need help. These children are our future. We brought them into this world and we are ultimately responsible for them. Whether they fail or succeed is not contingent on the school board. Place the blame on complacent parents who want "instant" everything and expect others to do the work raising and educating their children. If the school board is not making the grade, then replace them, don't just complain. Vote them out of office!

ReplyThis is more than Warminster township did for my brother who served 3 voluntary tours in Iraq. They didn't give him any recognition until he presented them with a letter from Congress thanking him for his service. Each time he returned from deployment, he returned alone - no one showed up to greet him.

I had the same problem after a lightening strike. It blew out the GFI in my breaker box - I had to get an electrician to fix it. Check your breaker to see if you can reset it, otherwise you will need an electrician. I would also contact my homeowner's insurance and report this. Good luck.

ReplyI paid for my dog licenses. The animal control officer won't be entering my residence without a warrant. They just need to check with William Snyder treasurer at the Doylestown Courthouse. That's where the record should be. If not, where did the money go that I was charged for these licenses? There is no rabies outbreak in this area either.

What happened to the tax revenue generated from Ann's Choice? There are hundreds of units that should have put money into the township. My taxes went from $2800 to over $6000

ReplyAnd now for more breaking news in Warminster...During the week of March 25, Pennsylvania Dog Wardens will be canvassing homes in the Warminster Township area. All dogs must be licensed and vaccinated against rabies. Violators can be cited with a maximum fine of $300 per violation plus court fees. DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO ENTER YOUR PREMISES
UNLESS THEY HAVE A SEARCH WARRANT. Local PD have nothing better to do than harass lawbiding citizens. I have license and vaccinations for my pets but will not be inviting the dog warden in for tea! They can check with the Bucks County Treasurer who issued these licenses. They do not need to bang at my door. Just do something more useful to keep the township safe. There is no rabies epidemic among the canine population here so it isn't a public health issue either. Go chase the rabid racoons out there. -

ReplyDeborah Silva had called the police to report that Andrew Cairns was threatening suicide. It is sad that he did not accomplish his goal and that Marie Zienkewicz was killed because she was a good neighbor. If Cairns killed himself, there would have been no firefight and no standoff. He would have saved a decent person's life and eliminated himself.

Yes, it makes you wonder what changed that WAWA is now allowed to start building.
