Here is my feasibility study (no charge)

The district does not have the money to remodel the administration building. Move two or three people into a classroom (use dividers or cubicles). Close down part of the building and save money by not having to light and heat the closed portion of the building.

The current school board is obsessed with building new buildings and remodeling the existing buildings. Great if they have the funds available, but they do not!! Live with what you currently have. The taxpayers do not want their taxes raised again, to remodel the administration building. If some of the administrators or board members do not like this, I am sure that they know where the doors are located.

The Centennial School Board cares more about having new buildings than educating the students. This has been a fact for at least the last 5-10 years. I do not know about the high schools' administration today, but under the previous principal it was evident that the students were not the top priority.

This ranking or not ranking is more evidence that our School Board is out of touch and should be removed and replaced by members dedicated to offering a better education to the students of Centennial School District.

Congressman Fitzpatrick is a loyal soldier of the Republican leadership. He does and votes as instructed. The leaderships marching orders are more important to our Congressman than what is good or will benefit the people of Bucks County that elected him.

Mike, please be your own man and not a puppet in 2013.

This seems to be a very low bid for the building and 13.54 additional acres of prime residential real estate. I personally have no faith leaving these major asset sales to our current School Board.

I suggest that they have an appraisal done on the property and hire a commercial realtor to sell the properties. As a taxpayer I would rather wait 6 months and receive a higher price than fire sale the properties and surrounding land.

It also appears very odd that one company would present the highest bid on all three properties.

I think it is a very good idea. Younger siblings of children using the fields would have something to do if they did not want to watch the soccer games.

If you want to improve the Township, use the money for lawyers to review the documents from when Southampton joined the Centennial School District. Then figure a way for Southampton to leave the Centennial School District.

Having your own School District will much improve Southampton and possibly raise the values of our homes.

Buses, Drivers, Fuel & a Mechanic

It appears that with these additional costs associated with the Elementary Schools every year, the district will not be saving as much money as our School Board members had thought when they approved consolidating schools and building new schools instead of updating existing buildings.

    What a Surprise!!!

How many teachers will have to be laid off to pay for the buses, drivers, fuel costs, maintenance costs, and the additional mechanics salary??? Also, what is the cost of four new buses, a mechanics salary, maintenance and fuel costs per year????

Someone should write a book, "How Not To Run A School District", a case study of the Centennial School Board!!!!

It is a shame that when the residents/taxpayers spoke at School Board meetings last year and suggested to the Board, that they could not fund the contract that they were going to approve, the BOARD AS USUAL DID NOT LISTEN TO THE TAXPAYERS. This again demonstrates the arrogance and lack of fiscal understanding of our School Board.

I am glad to hear that the Centennial Education Association could understand the severity of Centennial's fiscal troubles and agreed to work and compromise with the School District. It is sad that class sizes must increase and the quality of education that our children receive must go down due to teacher downsizing.

I and many others believe that it is time for Board Members Lynch and Huf to retire from the board and be thanked for their years of service. You need new members with fresh ideas that are more in touch with the needs and priorities of the district.

    Mr. Golden

The other way to keep the residents informed is to broadcast the Supervisors meetings. This was done for many years and suddenly stopped. Many residents watched these meetings on the Township channel. WHY WAS THIS STOPPED????

I think the recording of the Supervisors meetings was stopped because too many residents were informed of upcoming issues and may had attended future Supervisors meetings. The lame excuse that was given at the time was that the video camera stopped working.

With all of that the money the Township is now saving on trash collection, BUY A NEW CAMERA AND START TELEVISING THE SUPERVISORS MEETING AGAIN!!!

If the cost per household for twice a week collection in 2012 is 147.44, then why am I charged 310.00 on my current tax bill for refuse. The Township is more than doubling the actual cost. I can not believe that the Township is using retail profit margins!!!
