This Officer is now responsible for two dead victims from his obvious lack of control. Granted, the young man he shot and illed was no angel but that did not give the officer the right to shoot to kill. The elderly woman certainly did not deserve to be shot and killed by the officer who used the same excuse as he did in the young man's shooting. He thought the young man had something in his hand although witnesses claimed he did mot. Now he states he thought the elderly woman had something in her hand, disgraceful. I respect police but have none for this one, and hope he never answers a call for help at my home or anyone I care about. He shoots randomly and lacks the training of assessing the situation before firing his gun. That he is the firearm instructor for the department compounds the situation. He needs retraining or better yet, should be removed from the Department. How can any resident of the Township feel safe with this officer supposedly protecting them?

They also authorized another $35,000 + of taxpayers money for access to a pump at the new McDonald school that was 'left off' the original drawings. Never ceases to amaze how inept the Centennial School Board is. They continue to spend money on mistakes they make without a concern for the taxpayers or the students.

There is a clear pattern that has emerged with the lawsuits the District has faced. Changes have been made at the Superintendent level, Principal level, Administration level, yet no changes have been made at the School Board level. They are the common thread to the problems in the District. I urge parents who are disgusted with the actions of the CSB to stand up, throw your hat in the ring and get the arrogant, ignorant, pompous members off the Board. They have systematically ruined the District. Taxes rising not for the education of your children but to defend the numerous lawsuits caused by the School Board's lack of intelligence.

Taxes are rising to pay for all the lawsuits caused by the School Board, their lack of intelligence and arrogance. They claim the taxes are rising due to the teachers health care, etc. Baloney! It is the lawsuits and the new buildings they insisted the students needed. Obvious the money is not going toward the student's education as the test scores are declining. Nice job by the School Board yet again. They need to educate themselves before they take one more vote. Their ignorance is disgusting. How Pollack escapes these time and again is very curious to those who are paying attention. Either he evokes fear on anyone 'talking' or he is has the 'Luck of the Irish' but hopefully his time will come soon also.

I do not usually post regarding character assasinations, as everyone is entitled to their opinion however, I feel I must regarding Dr. Clark. My children attended Log College and I was very involved in the school. Dr. Clark was open to suggestions and requests, he never denied a meeting request and was always attentive. One of the reasons I admired Dr. Clark was he did not offer preferential treatment to any person, whether it was the child of an active parent or a child of a disinterested parent. Any complaints were addressed fairly and openly. Perhaps some have had a different experience than I did, but I must say, my children were all distinctly different during their years at Log and I never once had a problem speaking with Dr. Clark (or Mr. Wallace). I approached any meetings with respect and I was also treated respectfully.

To single out one Administrator is unfair. When a child is called into 'question', it is natural for a parent to go into 'Mother/Father Bear mode, however; approaching and rectifying the problem as adults is the ultimate goal. Sometimes, just sometimes, the child is in the wrong <gasp>. Sometimes, just sometimes, parents act as juvenile as the child. An Administrator falling asleep during a parental meeting should be reported immediately and hopefully you did so otherwise the compaint is invalid as a public forum is not the proper course to take.

When any negative comments are made about the Board, their stock reply is 'Run for the seat if you are unhappy'. A resounding 'NO' is the reply, do what you were elected to do, provide a safe and quality education for the students. Stop attempting to keep up with Central Bucks or Council Rock, you are failing miserably and bringing our students along for the downfall.

Dr. Cressman, I wish you well whatever the outcome is. It may be best for you to step down and have the others (Puppetmasters) step out of the shadows for all to see. They along with the Board are the people responsible for the dismal test scores, outlandish spending and complete lack of concern for the students. The veil should be lifted and they should be exposed for who they really are. Their ego's are much larger than their intelligence and it is common knowledge who they are and what they have done to a once excellent school district. Not only have they torn down buildings, they have torn down the students, their education and pride.

Dr. Cressman, the latest scapegoat for an incompetent School Board. Shameful the way the dictatorship is run and yes, I said dictatorship. Limited speaking by parents/taxpayers at meetings, improper maintenance of buildings, therefore; building new schools during a recession, incompetent with building plans causing cost overruns and delays, expecting parents to pay for playgrounds and sports fields, bus schedules that are convoluted, a Rubik's cube when attempting to enter or leave the high school with the ridiculous amount of driveways, ignoring the safety of children during 'Drop Off & Pick Up' at Davis and Willow Dale thus the necessity of police directing the backlog of traffic on streets, etc. the list goes on and on and no matter how many times it is called to their attention, the Board arrogantly ignores and continues on their Ozlike pathway.

Priority, the education of the students, something the Board cannot grasp. While new school buildings are going up, test scores are going down. Does that sound rational to anyone? The Board will come up with excuse after excuse, remove Administrators, blame everyone but will not look within their own confines. No matter if it a Board member who is in with the 'In Crowd' or a Board member on the outside, all are responsible. One group does as it pleases and the others are silent.

Dr. Cressman I wish you well if you removed from your position. In fact, it would probably be for your own good. It is common knowledge that there are those in the shadows pulling the strings. They are not as smart as they think they are. The veil is being lifted for all to see the Incompetence of some whose ego's are larger than their brains. Not all on the Board are to be blamed, but they should have spoken up years ago. The same with those in Administratio, not all are to blamed, but a few who hide behind others, should be brought out into the open.

One person is being made the scapecoat for the ignorance of most of the Board. They will respond to any negativity with 'Vote us out' or 'You should run' instead of addressing the issues at hand. Priority is the education of the children, not new buildings. In fact, if the buildings had been maintained properly, there would have been no need for new buildings. McDonald was virtually ignored for years. How many years was the empty pool filled with old desks, chairs, tables, etc?

New buildings came at a price to the students. Test scores are going down while buildings are going up. Does that make sense to any rational person? The Board should be held accountable every day and parents should be attending the meetings on a regular basis. They give five minutes to speak, great, work around that ridiculous rule, attend with other parents and beforehand each prepare a statement that continues as each parent speaks. Do not allow them to shut the communication off. Praise them if they do something correctly (which with the current Board you would have to look deeply to find anything positive). Above all, put education first and foremost and demand the same from the the Board.

Athough I am not a proponent of Dr. Cressman, I am even lesser of the CSB. The School Board has been out of control for years. They have been attempting to compete with the better surrounding districts and continuously come up short to the detriment of those they are supposedly advocates for, the students! Central Bucks & Council Rock built new buildings, therefore; we must also, after all, have to keep up with The Joneses. Spend excessive amounts of taxpayer money during a recession. To add insult to injury, they forgot the need for a playground at Davis, created the most convoluted and inconvenient bus schedule for Willow Dale students. Never took into consideration the 'Drop Off & Pick Up' at Davis and Willow Dale which had to overseen by the police due to the traffic back-ups, not to mention the failure of the safety of the students entering or exiting the schools. Created more driveways at the high school which has caused a bumper car effect to drive down Centennial Road, busses exiting one drive - cars exiting another drive - busses entering another drive - cars entering another drive, it is a Rubik's cube. The Scool Board has been ineffectual, obnoxious, ignorant and self-serving. The students and their education is at the bottom of their list. They refuse to allow discussion between parents and the Board dur meetings. The meetings are run akin to a dictatorship. The priority should be the education and welfare of the children.
