Sponsors, Volunteers Needed for Warminster Day

The Warminster Day celebration returns this year on September 7, 2013, and the township has asked the community to help put the event together.

This year's festivities will commemorate the 10 year anniversary Warminster Community Park's opening, starting with the NGA Health Walk & 5K at 8:30 a.m. The party will get into full swing at 11 a.m., with anticipated features that include live entertainment, bounce houses, games, fire and K-9 demos, food, booths and more.

Members of the community can participate in several ways, according to a release from the township:

1) Sponsor the event. 

2) Host a booth. 

3) Bring the food. Food vendors are invited to participate, but only the first five who submit applications and do not duplicate menu options will be accepted. That means, only one pizza provider, one burger/fry fabricator, one dessert distributor, etc.  

4) Be an active volunteer. If you wish to volunteer for the event that day,  contact the Parks & Recreation office at (215) 443-5428.
