Council Rock Teacher Named Tennent Athletic Director

Timothy Keddie has been appointed the new assistant principal and athletic director for William Tennent.

The Centennial School Board unanimously approved Tuesday night the appointment of Timothy Keddie as William Tennent's new assistant principal and athletic director.
Keddie will leave his current position as a special education teach and girls soccer coach at Council Rock South to join the Centennial community.

"This is an excellent chance to become involved with a growing district like Centennial," said Keddie.

As the new athletic director, Keddie replaces Lou Pacchioli, who retired this year after 14 years with the school. Like Pacchioli, who played baseball in the New York Mets minor league system, Keddie has some professional sports experience. He was a member of the Philadelphia Freedom soccer team in 1997 and the Reading United A.C. in 2000.

Keddie, who grew up in the Holland section of Northampton, coached the Council Rock South girls soccer team to three state titles and six league titles. He plans to continue that level of success with William Tennent.

"I'm going to spend the next few weeks getting acclimated to the school," said Keddie. "I'm going to look at where Centennial is now and where it can go in the future."
